David Strauss
VP, Finance and Controller

Mr. Strauss brings more than 10 years of relevant strategic, finance, and accounting experience. Mr. Strauss joined Terns in 2021 where he led the expansion of the finance and accounting department during the transition from a private to public biotech company. During that time, he participated in the initial public offering and multiple follow-on offerings that raised over $300 million in proceeds.

Before that, Mr. Strauss held various Controller and Assistant Controller roles at public companies, where he led the accounting and finance team through operational and system transformations. He began his career in 2011 at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. Strauss holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University and is a certified public accountant inactive in California.
